Scarlet Vows

Synopsis

Eighteen years ago, Jian Bai helped Jiang Zhendong build his fortune with a dowry of one billion yuan, only to be betrayed by him, his mistress Liu Yun, and his illegitimate daughter Jiang Yan. Her own daughter, Jiang Wanyin, endured hardships for eighteen years. Eighteen years later, when Jiang Yan was to marry Si Yu, Jiang Zhendong forced Jiang Wanyin to hand over her mother’s wedding dress. She pretended to agree but secretly plotted to take back everything. She returned to the Jiang family with the wedding dress box and gave Jiang Yan a necklace with a recording function. At a restaurant, Jiang Yan provoked her, and she fought back with a fruit fork while dropping her room card to Si Yu, with whom she had crossed paths before. During a Jiang family dinner, Si Yu asked to see her specifically, leading Jiang Zhendong to mistakenly whip her. At the engagement banquet, a wounded Jiang Wanyin arrived just in time to expose Jiang Yan’s evil deeds. Si Yu announced that Jiang Wanyin was his fiancée, turning Jiang Yan’s wedding into a laughingstock.
