He rescues a gifted hound Dahuang that can appraise antiques, making great night-market finds to redeem himself. He meets appraisal master Gu Wenyuan and his daughter Gu Qingyan, foiling the Lin family’s framing scheme. His exquisite ancient restoration skills astonish the public. In the end, he co-founds a restoration workshop, inherits traditional craftsmanship, and reaps a successful career and happy love.
