Synopsis

Lin Wu was originally the daughter of the Lin family, a child prodigy in dance and the apple of her parents' eyes. However, she was falsely befriended by Lin Qingqing, her father's illegitimate daughter, who colluded with Xue Hui—Lin Wu's stepmother—to cause the death of Lin Wu's biological mother. They then orchestrated an accident, pushing Lin Wu down a staircase, which left her with a severe leg injury and robbed her of the ability to dance. Through Xue Hui's manipulations, Lin Wu became a stunningly beautiful but notoriously disgraced young woman with a limp, while Lin Qingqing usurped Lin Wu's career in the dance world.
