Synopsis

Supernatural being Hale saved dying Henry on a snowy night in year sixty-two, gaining his lifelong loyalty for a talisman. Wealthy Henry waited for Hale to end their pact before death. After his passing, his daughter-in-law Claire’s ghost escaped. She was poisoned by clan elder Seno on immortal Elizabeth’s orders, not lost to labor. Their target was granddaughter Lily, who sees fate threads. The black mist around Lily’s neck is her mother’s protection. Hale trains her to master powers and retrieve the ancestral silver brooch. Lily destroys Elizabeth’s power source with fate threads, punishing all wrongdoers. With the pact closed, Hale departs for his next mission.
