Camilia chanced to stop Casper from committing suicide. Witnessing this, Bert hired her to treat Casper’s aphasia. Born chatty, Camilia tried every means to make him speak. She soon discovered his muteness stemmed from his stepmother Grace and stepbrother Brooke. After his mother’s passing, the two had long psychologically abused him, leaving him with selective mutism.Breaking down Casper’s defenses with her constant chatter, Camilia also thwarted her stepfamily’s vicious schemes.
