Trama

Chen Shouhe, a craftsman who weaves with grass, incurs the wrath of Consort Chen over a piece of "Twinroot Grass" and is brutally tortured to death. His wife, Su Wanniang, eagerly awaits his return, only to receive his corpse stuffed with withered grass. Devastated by grief, she assumes the identity of Su Cao, a female physician, and infiltrates the imperial city. Using a herbal medicine stall as her cover, she quietly builds an intelligence network and carefully plots her way closer to the emperor, one step at a time. She has only one goal: to avenge her murdered husband.
