Synopsis

In the chaotic era of the Republic of China, Lu Shuheng is betrayed by her brother and loses her whole family. Saved by Split Axe Hall chief Chen Xiaotian, she learns lethal fighting techniques. Seven years on, she sneaks into the Hua Martial Arts School as a widow, kills her brother and Japanese enemy Sato Ichiro, and takes over Split Axe Hall. As she consolidates power, fights the Inagawa Society and roots out traitors in the National Protection Society, Chen Xiaotian reappears after staging his death. They battle together and join the resistance against Japan. When peace comes, Lu Shuheng establishes a martial arts school for women to carry forward martial arts, living out her days alongside Chen Xiaotian.
