Synopsis

Chen Yang, a young herb gatherer from Qingxi Village, was pushed off a cliff by his paternal uncle. Trapped in a desperate situation, he saved Liu Ruyan, a spirit snake. She gifted him a white snake bracelet, granting him the power of mountain spirits. With this supernatural ability, he gathered rare medicinal herbs, exposed the plot and reclaimed the herbal shop. He freely ventured into Soul-Breaking Valley, tamed a fierce tiger, and discovered an ancient stockade and jadeite vein. In the end, he partnered with business allies to build three major industries: medicinal herbs, jadeite and mountain spring water. Adopting a collective shareholding model, he lifted the whole village out of poverty. He grew into a young leader who guards the mountains and gives back to his townsfolk.
