Synopsis

Fifteen years ago, kindhearted lumber magnate Thomas helped a penniless young Harriet get her start, sealing their partnership with a brass plumb bob. Years later, Thomas is betrayed by his scheming wife Grace, her lover Victor, and his three stepchildren. With Bennett Timber gutted, his workers demanding their wages, and his mother gravely ill, Thomas is pushed to the brink. Just when all hope seems lost, Harriet returns as a powerful oil tycoon—determined to restore her business partner’s dignity and reclaim everything stolen from him.
