Synopsis

Ji Wei, newly returned from overseas studies, takes over the failing Xishan Tea Factory. Faced with veteran workers banding together to stage a mutiny, she makes the tough call to lay them off. She introduces automated machinery, standardizes tea-making procedures and trains female workers with no prior experience to mass-produce premium tea. Confronted with retaliation from former staff, poaching and suppression by provincial capital investors, and counterfeit schemes set up by competitors, Ji Wei relies on her calm mind and unwavering grit to defuse crises time after time. In the end, she builds Xishan Tea into a world-famous domestic brand benchmark.
