The 2026 "Adventures on Double Ninth Festival" is themed “Ascending Higher Step by Step, Reuniting Year After Year.” Rooted in China's rich traditional culture, the program highlights the festival's key traditions and values, including climbing to high places, honoring and caring for the elderly, and cherishing time spent together with loved ones. Using “The Double Ninth Festival in Poetry” as its central thread, the program brings together five artistic performances inspired by the festival's folk traditions and embodying its cultural spirit, inviting audiences to embark on an autumn rendezvous that transcends time and space.
