Synopsis

In the third Year of the Daye era, border tensions rise as Emperor Yang Guang of Sui Dynasty tours the north to awe the western frontiers. Dao Ma, the Blade of the Guardian, is entrusted by an old friend to escort rebel leader Zhi Shilang to Chang'an, where he hopes to save a crumbling world.
