Synopsis

Zhou Zhengtao, a former state-owned jade carving craftsman, spent fifteen years as a full-time househusband for his daughter, yet suffered endless humiliation from his daughter, son-in-law and in-law Lin Guofu. After exposing Lin’s fake blue-and-white porcelain, he was abandoned with his lifelong tools tossed away, forcing him to cut ties and leave home. He rescues a gifted hound Dahuang that can appraise antiques, making great night-market finds to redeem himself. He meets appraisal master Gu Wenyuan and his daughter Gu Qingyan, foiling the Lin family’s framing scheme. His exquisite ancient restoration skills astonish the public.
