Synopsis

"A young king suffers a strange curse that turns him into a cat each night. To shield his first‑love Helena, he lavishes favour on proud general’s daughter Cassandra as a political decoy. Roaming the palace as a cat, he uncovers the truth: gentle‑looking Helena is a manipulative fraud who stole credit for saving him long ago and cruelly mistreats cats. Cold‑seeming Cassandra is the real rescuer and a tender cat‑lover. The king sentences Helena to death and sets out to win Cassandra over. Yet she suspects his sudden devotion is a plot to destroy her family. After a deceptive battlefield ploy and the king taking a mortal blow for her, all misunderstandings dissolve. They give themselves to one another and prepare to rule their great empire together."
