Synopsis

The protagonist, Arthur, is a down-on-his-luck junkyard worker whose ex-wife, Jessica, left him for Richard, a Wall Street tycoon. During a conflict, Arthur unexpectedly awakens his clairvoyant abilities. Using these abilities, he wins the lottery jackpot and stumbles upon a string of bargains in the junkyard, including century-old gold bars, genuine Van Gogh paintings, and a Romanov gold seal, rapidly amassing a fortune. Facing humiliation from snobbish relatives and relentless pressure from Richard, Arthur launches a desperate counterattack. He buys a luxury mansion, orchestrates an auction that bankrupts Richard and lands him in jail, and ultimately strips his ex-wife of everything in court.
