The Top Medical Examiner Bails

Synopsis

The Top Medical Examiner Rosie Porter was despised by all. In contrast, Cora Whitley, who claimed to be a "corpse whisperer" with the ability to communicate between the realms of Yin and Yang, was revered. Cora could even recite the findings of Rosie's autopsy reports faster than Rosie herself could write them. Extremist family members of the deceased hated Rosie for what they saw as defiling the dead, and this hatred ultimately led to her murder. After being reborn, Rosie returned and requested a transfer to a clerical position. However, upon hearing this news, it was Cora who began to panic.
