Synopsis
Eileen, a young woman deeply in love with her partner Cain, is chosen by the village priest to be sacrificed as a bride to the legendary "Snake God" and cast into the fathomless Serpent's Abyss. Yet, what awaits her in the cavern is not a monster, but Ouroboros—a black python capable of taking human form. Solitary and reticent, he has never harmed a single bride despite his serpentine nature. Amidst her initial fear, Eileen gradually discovers his gentleness and vulnerability, and a unique bond of affection blossoms between them. Unwilling to lose Eileen, Cain storms the abyss with a demon hunter and gravely wounds Ouroboros using poison. Eileen chooses to follow her heart, leaving the village to search for him. Eventually, they reunite; Eileen conceives a serpent's egg, and Ouroboros vows to protect her forever. Their love—transcending both species and hatred—finds a peaceful sanctuary at last.
