Synopsis
For ten years, Hazel Whitmore let her family believe she was a broke barista in New York. At her golden sister Serena’s Ashford wedding, they humiliate her, advertise her as a charity case, and order her out. Then Sterling Ashford himself rushes in, begging “Dr. Whitmore” to stay. Hazel isn’t the family disgrace. She is MIT’s youngest tenured professor, holder of the brain-computer interface patent the Ashfords need to save their empire.
