The Weight I Carry for You

Synopsis

Super-strong Lena takes a $100,000 job as bodyguard to paralyzed heir Sylvester. On day one, she kicks down his door and carries him—wheelchair and all—out of his room. Sylvester, who hasn't spoken in two years, blurts out: "Are you insane?"Lena replaces every glass cup with thermoses, removes all breakables, and throws open every curtain—dragging him out of the dark by sheer force. When the family questions her motives, Sylvester stands before the board: "Money brought her through the door. But she made me want to live."Lena crushes Ethan and Evelyn's schemes—flipping kidnappers, pinning Ethan to the conference table. Sylvester takes his first steps toward her in rehab: "I want to walk to you." They plant a new tree in the courtyard, its wooden sign reading "Second Try."
