Synopsis

The day before she was set to get her marriage certificate, Shu Wanrou faces a double betrayal from her boyfriend, Lu Jing, and her best friend, Yao Qingqing. Her grandfather, who has always been her closest family, tries to stand up for her but is attacked by the deceitful pair, suffering a heart attack and being rushed to the hospital. To ease her sick grandfather's worries, Shu Wanrou decides to hire someone for a flash marriage with the help of her childhood friend, Shen Zichu. On the day of the marriage, Shu Wanrou mistakenly believes she is marrying the man she hired, but it turns out she is actually marrying Lu Boyan, the CEO of Lu Group. The two accidentally register for marriage, but what Shu Wanrou doesn't know is that this encounter was part of a long-planned scheme by Lu Boyan.
