The Son's Regret and Revenge

Synopsis

The male protagonist, the world's top martial artist, unknowingly causes his father's death during a competition due to his trust in others. He becomes absorbed in his wife's family, neglecting his parents, and inadvertently misses his father's last chance for survival, leaving his mother devastated. At a celebration hosted by his father-in-law, he learns of his father's death and rushes to the cemetery, only to be prevented from mourning unless he accepts punishment for his past actions. During this time, he uncovers that his father's death is linked to his wife's father and decides to sever ties with her. His wife, trying to save her father, kidnaps his mother. Though guilty, he defeats her, and they divorce. In the end, the protagonist avenges his father, reclaims his martial arts school, reconciles with his mother, and they live peacefully, leaving behind the world of martial arts.
