Dragon's Shadow

Synopsis

Hearing that the Dragon Divine King is arriving in Jiang City, several prominent families rush to the airport to welcome the Divine King's helicopter. To their surprise, the person stepping off the helicopter is Duan Xiao, the son-in-law who went to prison five years ago to take the fall for his wife's brother. Duan Xiao believes that his wife, Rong Jingxiao, and his father-in-law, Rong Haidong, are there to welcome him out of prison, only to be met with humiliation. Rong Jingxiao coldly tells Duan Xiao to go to her company, as she has something to discuss with him, before turning and leaving. Just as Duan Xiao prepares to follow her, Miss Wen Xueqing of the Wen family arrives in a luxury car and asks him to marry her.
