After a wartime blast leaves Owen cognitively impaired, he depends entirely on his wife, Nora—unaware that she is secretly involved with his brother Adrian. When they abandon him in a powerless apartment to enjoy a family trip, his desperate calls for food and help are dismissed as manipulation. Owen dies alone, and only then does Nora uncover the truth he had remembered all along. As guilt and justice close in, can regret ever atone for a life destroyed by betrayal?
