Silent Dancer

Handlung

Lin Mo, a double‑leg amputee, kept getting complaints from downstairs neighbor Zhang Qiang for late‑night tap‑dancing noise. Despite Lin Mo’s repeated explanations, Zhang Qiang wouldn’t believe him. Property Manager Wang failed multiple mediations and installed a decibel meter in his flat, which registered high night‑time noise. When they rushed into Lin Mo’s bedroom, they saw his empty leg stumps—yet clear tap‑dance sounds echoed from the ceiling. Upstairs Unit 1201, owned by Li Xiulan, had stood vacant for half a year after she moved out. Inside the empty flat, they found a black cat wearing plastic paw covers, the real source of the tap‑like noise.
