Synopsis

In the late 1970s, immortal boy Fubao is banished to earth for sleeping in, reborn as a tiny yellow puppy and almost cooked. He escapes and finds Su Zhixia, labeled a jinx, abandoned by family and living in a run-down straw hut. Using leftover immortal magic, Fubao chases away misfortune, hunts game, forecasts weather and clears farmland for her. Su Zhixia meets exiled Gu Wanzhou; their pretend romance blooms into real love. They build a home and earn the village’s acceptance. Fubao rejects his return to heaven, deciding to stay by Su Zhixia’s side forever.
