Closer at Night: Addicted

Synopsis

To escape her stepbrother’s harassment, Shi Yue marries the wealthy, seemingly reliable Zhang Zhiyuan. She tries to be a perfect wife, only to find him repeatedly unfaithful. Seeking revenge, she attempts a night of recklessness — but is caught red-handed by Zhang’s playboy friend Qin Zhao. A notorious ladies’ man who only goes for bold, glamorous women, Qin Zhao is never interested in a prim wife like Shi Yue. Yet her moment of letting go sparks his curiosity. They start a secret affair, distant in public and intimate behind closed doors. What Shi Yue thinks will be a fleeting fling turns into an obsession for Qin Zhao.
