Synopsis
When Emma got engaged, her parents secretly made Nathan draw blind boxes to pay an exorbitant betrothal sum. Believing she'd scammed him, he doled out a meager living allowance for three years, lavishing wealth on his sister Lily's family instead. When their daughter fell critically ill, Nathan still thought Emma was swindling him and tended to Lily's child, costing their daughter treatment. After losing her, Emma discovered her marriage was fraudulently registered with relatives' collusion, and fled to Hawaii. Nathan pursued her after learning the truth; she refused reunion with a box of "unforgivable" blind boxes. Five years later, she'd built a new family with Owen, leaving him only a ¥9.9 note and regret.
