Synopsis

Zhao Mancang was tricked by his uncle Zhao Dehou into working for free for ten years and then expelled, only getting back his 30,000-yuan principal. He teamed up with his friend Sun Dazhu to contract barren mountains to start a business. With ancestral herbal formulas and mature breeding skills, he expanded his farm steadily. Confronted with vicious competition and poisoning plots from his uncle’s family, plus repeated commercial suppression from provincial Zhou Animal Husbandry, he made a comeback with integrity, technology and rational management. Eventually, he claimed the gold medal at the National Agricultural Expo and became the leader of the county's breeding industry.
