Synopsis

On their wedding night, the King whispered in her ear, "I have sought your scent for so long." Yet, ten months later, she gave birth to five civet cats. With the midwife fainting in terror, a rival consort staging a coup, a chamber pot serving as her only lifeline, and the charge of deceiving the monarch hanging over her head—the King simply laughed. All the other wives who had borne human infants had perished; the true heir to the Divine Tiger bloodline was destined to be born in animal form. From a lowly pawn to the eye of a palace storm, she had entered the court in innocence, unaware that a secret slumbering within her was slowly awakening alongside the arrival of these five "civet cats."
