Synopsis

The eldest Lin household, honest and long-suffering for generations, endures oppression from their biased grandmother and greedy second branch. After Shen Chuntao marries in, she boldly confronts the overbearing second branch to protect her sister-in-law’s education and her husband’s pride. She brandishes an axe to intimidate them and arranges a public family separation. Later, she leads her family into the smoked chicken business. Growing from a rural stall to a city brand, she defeats crises including poisoning schemes by the second branch, cutthroat competition and supply blockades. Finally, she expands the small workshop into a large enterprise and achieves the family’s dramatic comeback.
