Thirteen years later, Li Xinqian joins the Ye Corporation, where the amnesiac Ye Baichuan now works as a janitor—unaware he once founded the company. His wife, Xu Huimin, and their children, Ye Chong and Ye Qing, have been searching for him for years, but fail to recognize him when they meet again. Ye Chong abuses his power to bully Li Xinqian and Ye Baichuan, who quietly endures for the sake of his goddaughter. With Ye Baichuan gone, the company faces internal strife, and Ye Chong is gradually pushed out. When Ye Baichuan unexpectedly reveals his sharp business instincts to help Ye Chong, Xu Huimin begins to suspect his true identity. In the end, the family is reunited, Li Xinqian is adopted, Ye Baichuan regains control of the company, and justice is served.
