Synopsis

Fifteen years ago, He Caiwei chose to save her childhood friend Lin Dongrong in a fire, which caused her younger brother, He Tianqi, to resent her. Fifteen years later, He Caiwei marries Lin Dongrong and becomes pregnant, but she suffers from domestic abuse. She discovers that her brother has changed his name to He Chengyu and no longer recognizes her, even speaking cruelly to her. He Chengyu's sister, He Zhenzhen, is jealous of He Caiwei's marriage to Lin Dongrong and, upset that He Caiwei took her brother away, repeatedly frames He Caiwei. To seek her brother's forgiveness, and after learning she has stomach cancer, He Caiwei decides to end her life and donate her lungs to He Zhenzhen. Lu Sicheng reveals the truth, and He Chengyu, filled with regret, begs for forgiveness. In the end, He Zhenzhen is sent to a mental institution for poisoning He Caiwei, and after He Caiwei recovers, she agrees to marry Lu Sicheng.
