Synopsis

After the return of the powerful King Lin Lan, he discovers that his wife and daughter are being mistreated. Determined to take action, Lin Lan plans a grand birthday banquet. Before the event, he conceals his true identity and observes everything from the shadows. In their desperation to secure an invitation to the banquet, people go so far as to torment Ye Weiwei and degrade Lin Lan as a useless son-in-law. When the birthday banquet finally arrives, Lin Lan publicly strikes back at everyone and hosts a grand ceremony to make up for the suffering his wife and daughter endured.
