Synopsis

Actress Zhao Xinyue becomes embroiled in a scandal due to her boyfriend Liu Jiacheng's relationship with his adopted sister, Liu Chenche. On her wedding day, Liu Chenche attempts suicide, and her fiancé runs away. Determined to change her fate, Zhao Xinyue proposes a fake marriage contract to Jiang Xubai, Liu Jiacheng's rival, who agrees without hesitation. After the wedding, Zhao Xinyue discovers that Jiang Xubai is being followed by paparazzi, and he suggests they live together. A few days later, Liu Jiacheng confronts Zhao Xinyue angrily about the wedding, while Jiang Xubai asserts his dominance, provoking him.
